A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after being involved in a crash on the A34 Northbound near Chilton.
Thames Valley Police spokeswoman Hannah Williams said they received a call at 2.18pm to reports of collision involving a car and a tree on the A34 near the Beedon turn off.

She added that the woman did not have life-threatening injuries, but was taken to hospital by road.
Spokeswoman for South Central Ambulance Service Catherine Morrow said they were called and sent one ambulance crew, an ambulance officer and the Thames Valley air ambulance.
She added that the woman involved was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with suspected back injuries.
One lane was blocked but has now reopened.
