KILMARNOCK have signed former Celtic star Momo Sylla. The 29-year-old utility man has penned a two-and-a-half-year deal with the Rugby Park club.
The Guinean international makes a shock return to the SPL after 18 months at Leicester.
And Killie manager Jim Jefferies is confident Sylla will be a worthwhile addition. He said: "He is a versatile player and can play in a few positions which is good for us having a small squad."
Jefferies is hopeful Sylla will not be the last new arrival at Kilmarnock this month.
He added: "There have been one or two other things in the background too. I'm looking for another couple of players and hopefully something will happen next week.
"I'm particularly targeting a defensive player because of the injuries we've had."
