THE Mayor of Bicester has organised a charity walk for Good Friday.
The three-mile walk, starting at Garth Park, will raise money for the Hummingbird Centre, which provides support for cancer patients, The Army Benevolent Fund for soldiers and their families, and Bicester Community Hospital’s League of Friends.
Mayor Lynn Pratt said: “I hope as many people as possible turn out on Good Friday. All participants will get a hot cross bun supplied by Sainsbury’s and dog treats and Easter eggs supplied by Tesco.
“It’s a family friendly event and dogs are most welcome.”
It costs £4 for adults and £2 for under-16s to enter, and a team of four will cost £10. The event is at 11am on Friday, April 3.
