Traffic is queuing on the A34 near Bicester following a two-vehicle collision this afternoon.
Ambulance crews were called to the A34 northbound, about half a mile before the M40 Junction 9 roundabout, at about 4pm.
South Central Ambulance spokeswoman Catherine Morrow said one patient has been taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with possible head and neck injuries.
All lanes were cleared by 5pm but because of the problem there is congestion back to the Kidlington Junction, which leads onto Bicester Road and Oxford Road.
