A PAIR of superheroes were spotted at the three-legged race in Croughton.
The event, held over the weekend, which also had a bouncy castle and five-a-side football, was raising money for Katharine House Hospice in Adderbury and Help for Heroes.
Wearing onesies and other costumes, pairs paid £5 to run around the course at the Blackbird Pub in the High Street.
Croughton resident Cadell Beckett, a childminder, took her sons Leo, nine, and six-year-old Euan, who wore Spiderman costumes.
She said: “They enjoyed it and did two laps of the course.
“They got given little toys at checkpoints around the course.”
Leo said: “It was fun. The toys were the best bit. We got given them as we went round.
“I got a whistle and a stretchy man and a bouncy ball.”
Of Spiderman, Leo said: “He’s my favourite superhero.”
