Police are unable to confirm how many, if any, of the 34 suspected paedophiles arrested by Thames Valley Police over the past six months were from Oxfordshire.

The 660 arrests were part of a nationwide operation by the National Crime Agency which targeted people using the Internet to access indecent images of children.

The operation worked with all 45 police forces in the country.

Lord Palmerstone says...

"paedophiles" (literally "someone who likes children") was a euphemism for child molesters made up by the Paedophile Information Exchange as approved by the Deputy Leader of the Labour Party. As I understand it, it is said that these people are dirty picture lookers, not child molesters, discovery of whose activities was presumably always open to those with good IT skills. But of course the public sector organisation which co-ordinated the activity of the IT people is out for glory.
