Fifty-five premises in Oxford were visted for alcohol test purchases by police and Oxford City Council licensing officers in the year to April.
Of these, 10 venues sold alcohol to someone under the age of 18 and nine of those were given fines. One may face prosecution as the store supervisor refused to accept a fine. The authorities refused to name the shops involved.
