WHEN little Joshua Hodgins had his fingerprints taken, it wasn’t because he had got an early start in a life of crime.

Instead the three-year-old from Bicester had dropped by the town’s Garth Park for the fun day on Saturday.

Police officers were on hand to offer free bicycle security marking and fingerprinting.

It was part of a family fun day organised by Churches in Bicester, a group set up to promote understanding between the town’s Christians.

Joshua said: “I had a super time. We went on the bouncy castle and I had my fingerprints done like a criminal. I have got a police uniform at home.”

The day also featured face painting, fairground stalls and a skate park competition.
