AN AMBULANCE response service admitted to a serious disclosure of thousands of staff members’ data.

South Central Ambulance Service, which covers Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Hampshire, said the breach had occurred on its website on April 24.

It is understood report made available to the public was found to contain confidential information, including the ages, sexual orientation and religion of employees.

Some 2,800 members of staff were affected, BBC Radio Oxford said, following a Freedom of Information request lodged by BBC Radio Berkshire.
