PARENTS are being urged to sign up for a half-term programme of activities before they sell out.

Bicester’s The Cooper School will host the Cherwell District Council half-term hub after its most popular run over Easter.

It takes place from Tuesday, May 27, to Friday, May 30, and includes sports and arts and crafts for five- to 15-year-olds.

Activities include archery, football, kwik cricket and hockey. There will be dance on the Tuesday, trampolining on Wednesday, golf and dodgeball on Thursday and archery on Friday.

Council senior recreation and sport development officer Tom Gubbins said: “Our hubs are a great way to keep children entertained over the half-term break.

“We had over 600 registrations for our Easter hubs and with so many children eager to return we don’t want people to be disappointed.

“We would therefore encourage parents to register early to ensure their children do not miss out on a fantastic week of fun and games.”

Sessions will be split into five-to-sevens and eight-to-15s and cost £12.95 for 8.45am to 3pm and £16.95 for 8.45am to 5pm.
