Thunderbirds fans honour its creator

THE first annual convention celebrating the life of Thunderbirds creator Gerry Anderson took place over the weekend.

Andercon was held at the Park Inn Hotel at Heathrow Airport featuring recreations of sets, full-sized vehicles from Anderson’s productions and David Graham, the voice of Thunderbirds characters Brains and Parker.

Mr Anderson, who lived in Nuffield, near Wallingford, died in 2012 at the age of 83.
