A 44-year-old man was taken to hospital yesterday after a fire.

Oxfordshire Fire Service was called to West Hawthorn Road, Ambrosden, at 12.40am.

Firefighters extinguished a blaze in a brick outbuilding, used as a utility room.

Paramedics took the man to hospital where he was treated for smoke inhalation.
