  • Andrew Cleaver, 49, of Walnut Close, Witney, admitted failing to give information relating to the driver of a vehicle to Thames Valley Police when required between August 15 and September 12. Fined £115 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £80 costs. Given six points on driving licence.
  • Gary Smith, 55, of The Warrens, Hinton Waldrist, Faringdon, admitted speeding in Lamborough Hill, Wootton, on July 16, at a speed exceeding the 30mph speed limit. Fined £200 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £80 costs. Given three points on driving licence.
  • Matthew Dobbs, 24, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted begging in a public place in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on January 5 and February 4. Fined £100.
  • Toby Hitchcox, 35, of Warpsgrove Lane, Chalgrove, admitted speeding on the A415 near Culham on August 21 at a speed exceeding the 30mph speed limit. Fined £100 and told to pay a £320 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Given three points on driving licence.
  • Dominic Lowe, 21, of Banbury Road, Tackley, Kidlington, admitted failing to comply with red or green arrow or lane closure flashing light signals in Ardley Road, Middleton Stoney, on July 21. Fined £195 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Given three points on driving licence.
  • Maria Carvalho, 30, of Southlawn, Witney, convicted of speeding in Welch Way, Witney, at a speed exceeding the 30 mph speed limit on August 23. Fined £150 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given three points on driving licence.
  • Qamran Hafiz, 21, of Danesmoor, Banbury, convicted of driving without insurance on the M40 in Oxfordshire on August 17. Fined £500 and told to pay a £50 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given six points on driving licence.
  • Denise King, 25, of Main Road, Middleton Cheney, near Banbury, was convicted of being drunk in charge of a child under seven in Banbury High Street on May 4. Admitted stealing three tins of mackerel, worth £4.35, on April 26, £9 worth of salmon on November 11, £223.90 worth of meat products on November 29 and £90 of meat products on December 12, all from Ferriston Co-op, Banbury. Also admitted having a fake prescription for drugs in Banbury on December 9. Given a two-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge.
  • Abigail Ndhlovu, 43, of Kestrel Way, Bicester, admitted dishonestly abusing her position as a vocational lead with Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust to attempt to make financial gain. Given a community order with 100 hours’ unpaid work and ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Lee Linney, 34, of Springfield Road, Wantage, was convicted of assaulting a man and a woman by beating them in Grove on October 4. Given a community order with a two-year supervision requirement and ordered to pay £300 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £140 costs.
  • Michael Page, 28, of Cullerne Close, Abingdon, admitted possessing 1.1g of amphetamine and a quantity of cannabis in Cullerne Close on July 4. Fined £150 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.
  • ASW Scaffolding Ltd, of Down Farm West Hagbourne, near Didcot, admitted failing to adhere to health and safety guidelines when erecting scaffolding in Grove Road, Wantage, on July 9, 2012, and failing to take precautions to prevent an employee falling a distance liable to cause injury in Banbury Road, Oxford, on March 28, 2013. Fined £15,000 and ordered to pay £5,348 costs and a £120 victims’ surcharge.
  • Emma Baker, 34, of Colterne Close, Oxford, admitted failing to send her child to school between September 4 and November 27. Fined £50 and ordered to pay £50 costs and a £20 victims’ surcharge.
  • Shaun Buchan, 25, of Andersey Way, Abingdon, was convicted of travelling on a First Great Western train in Oxford without paying the £13.10 fare on October 19. Fined £400 and ordered to pay £13.10 compensation, a £40 victims’ surcharge and £130 costs.
  • Graham Coles, 48, of St Mary’s Road, Oxford, admitted shoplifting an action toy and a lamp worth £10 from Barnado’s in Oxford on November 22. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.
  • Callum Spencer, 21, of Wynbush Road, Oxford, admitted possession of Class B drug cannabis in Wynbush Road, Oxford, on February 3. Fined £50, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £40 costs.
  • Peter Brown, 28, of Haven Vale, Wantage, admitted stealing a sandwich worth £2 from Tesco in Cowley Road, Oxford on December 12. Also stole wine and meat worth £30 from Co-operative in Abingdon on January 7 and wine worth £15 from the Co-op on January 13. Community order made with a 12-month activity requirement. Told to pay a total of £47 compensation.
  • Craig Hanley, 24, of Stockleys Road, Headington, convicted of two charges of assaulting a police constable in the execution of his duty in Banbury Road, Summertown, Oxford, on April 1. Community order made and told to do 70 hours of unpaid community work within the next 12 months. Told to pay a total of £60 compensation and a £60 victims’ surcharge.
  • Rhys Ballard, 26, of Donnington Bridge Road, Oxford, admitted drink-driving in Pinnocks Way, Oxford, on January 19. Had 78 micrograms in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Also admitted driving without a licence or insurance. Fined a total of £220, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 22 months.

  • Willard Kurisa, 37, of Wilsdon Way, Kidlington, admitted drink-driving in Banbury Road, Kidlington, on January 20. Had 77 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £590, a £59 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 40 months.
  • Christopher Loftus, 26, of Broughton Road, Banbury, admitted possession of eight grams of Class A drug cocaine in High Street, Banbury, on January 17. Fined £300, a £30 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Adam Sheapheard, 31, of Lupin Lane, Carterton, admitted drink-driving in Burford Road, Witney, on January 18. Had 56 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £600, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.
  • Marcus Morris, 47, of Ruskin Walk, Bicester, admitted shoplifting a box of wine worth £13.99 from Co-op in High Street, Kidlington, on January 19. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge.
  • Adam Chambers, 26, of Gibbs Crescent, Oxford, admitted shoplifting groceries worth £104 from Lidl in Bicester on July 20. Stole groceries worth £40 from Tesco in Bicester on August 11. Also stole 20 cans of Special Brew alcohol worth £37.50 from Sainsbury’s in the Pioneer centre in Bure Place, Bicester, on October 18. Admitted theft by finding after stealing £103 belonging to St Ebbes Church in Roger Bacon Lane, Oxford, on September 18. Given a two-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months. Told to pay total compensation of £223 and £85 costs.
  • Vicki Eden, 48, of Bridle Close, Banbury, convicted of driving without insurance in Bankside, Banbury, on July 30. Fined £280, a £28 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Licence endorsed with six penalty points.
