THAMES Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance has launched a survey to find out why people support the charitable cause.

Emergency medical care is provided by the charity across the Thames Valley, including Oxfordshire, throughout the year.

Its helicopter, known as BOB for Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, has been based at RAF Benson since 2007.

Each mission flown by the helicopter costs about £2,500, with an average of three missions per day.

The charity wants to know whether people are aware of their work, how they are funded and wants to learn more about why people fundraise.

The survey takes 10 minutes and can be completed anonymously.

Participants will be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 Marks & Spencer voucher.
