James Bisson, 18, of Springfield Road, Wantage, admitted stealing meat worth £60 from Tesco in Millbrook Square, in Grove, near Wantage, on December 8. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Darren Constable, 31, of Hopton Road, Thame, admitted drink driving in Rycote Lane, Thame, on November 5. Had 135mg of alcohol in 100ml of urine, above the legal limit of 107mg. Given a 38-month driving ban and fined £600. Told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Darren Holder, 23, of Laurel Close, Chalgrove, Oxford, admitted drink driving in Brinkfield Road, Chalgrove, Oxford, on December 7. Had 95 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 26-month driving ban and fined £400. Told to pay a £30 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Darren McAllister, 23, of Laburnum Avenue, Abingdon, admitted assaulting a police constable in the execution of their duty in The Broadway, Didcot, and causing racially or religiously aggravated harassment, alarm or distress at Abingdon Police Station, in Colwell Drive, Abingdon, on December 22. Given a 28-day prison sentence suspended for 12 months and told to pay £150 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
James Bonwick, 21, of Crowell, Chinnor, admitted driving without due care and attention in Nettlebed on May 3. Fined £200 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and given six points on driving licence.
Hayley Cox, 31, of Brome Place, Headington, admitted stealing a handbag worth £49 from Accessorize in Queen Street, Oxford, on September 28. Fined £30 and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £35 costs.
Vicky Merrill, 33, of Pauling Road, Headington, admitted stealing eight fragrances worth £359 and going equipped for theft at Debenhams in Magdalen Street, Oxford, on November 16. Also admitted committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge made on October 21 for theft. Community order made with nine-month drug rehabilitation requirement and supervision requirement. Told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge.
Craig Slater, 41, of Peat Moors, Headington, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a sexual offences prevention order by failing to complete annual registration on October 9 in Oxford. Also admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, on Oxford on July 3 in Oxford. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Bernard Day, 42, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted two counts of begging in a public place at Carfax in Oxford city centre on November 26 and Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on December 4. Fined £20 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.
David Kingham-Cooper, 32, of Sydenham Road, Sydenham, Chinnor, admitted drink driving in Stert Road, Kingston Blount, Chinnor, on December 6. Had 72 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 20-month driving ban and fined £274. Told to pay a £27 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Robert Curran, 30, of Colwell Road, Berinsfield, near Wallingford, admitted driving while unfit through drugs in Station Road, Wallingford, on October 1. Given an 18-month driving ban and fined £324. Told to pay a £32 victims’ surcharge.
Liam Strachan, 23, of Pearce Way, Thame, admitted shoplifting food worth £34.39 from Marks and Spencers in Thame on November 10 and stealing food worth £45.72 from the firm on October 9. Community order made with a supervision requirement. Told to pay a total of £80.11 compensation.
Mark West, 43, of Paradise Street, Oxford, admitted assaulting a Pc in the execution of his duty at St Aldate’s police station in Oxford on November 5. Also admitted behaving in a violent manner at St Aldate’s police station on November 5. Fined £100, £30 compensation, £30 costs, and a £20 victims’ surcharge.
Lancelot Maine, 27, of Wytham Street, Oxford, admitted possession of cannabis in Oxford on September 4. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victim’s surcharge and £85 costs.
John Danby, 22, of Oxford Road, Banbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely Warwick Road, Banbury, on December 6. Fined £60 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.
Jessica Tustain, 21, of Boxhedge Road, Banbury, admitted stealing £78 worth of shoes from Debenhams and £59.99 worth of DVDs from HMV at Castle Quay shopping centre in Banbury on November 18. Given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £149.97 compensation to the shops.
Terrence Hanks, 33, of Corn Hide, Long Hanborough, admitted stealing £49 worth of meat from Co-op in Witney High Street on October 22. Fined £70 and ordered to pay £49 compensation and a £20 victims’ surcharge.
David French, 29, of Oxford Road, Banbury, admitted stealing five bottles of aftershave worth £199 from Debenhams in Castle Quay, Banbury, on October 28. Also admitted interfering with cars in Butcher’s Row and Newland Place, Banbury, on October 4 and stealing a bottle of wine worth £8 from Co-op on Middleton Road on June 24. Ordered to participate in a nine-day alcohol rehabilitation programme and to be supervised for 12 months. Also ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge, £40 costs and £8 compensation for the wine.
Mark Bliss, 64, of Kingston Road, Oxford, admitted driving on Kingston Road without insurance on May 22. Fined £275 and ordered to pay £28 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with six points but not banned from driving, as it his business would suffer financially and he would be unable to support his daughter’s schooling and living expenses.
Elizabeth Hughes, 47, of Ickleton Road, Wantage, admitted speeding on the A338 at Great Shefford on June 16. Fined £60 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Banned from driving for six months.
Samuel Merridan, 22, of Main Street, Hanwell, near Banbury, admitted drink driving in Hanwell on May 3. Had 48 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath above the legal limit of 35mg. Fined £225 and ordered to pay a £23 victims’ surcharge and £400 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.
