A petition has been launched by charity Oxford Homeless Pathways to fight budget cuts proposed by Oxfordshire County Council.
Under plans to save £64m over the next four years, it wants to cut its £4m housing-related support budget by £1.5m.
Oxford Homeless Pathways chief executive Lesley Dewhurst warned that the cuts could result in the closure of one of the city’s three hostels – O’Hanlon House, run by Oxford Homeless Pathways, Lucy Faithfull House or Simon House.
