GIGGLER: Sally Phillips' daughter Faith
TODAY is your last chance to enter your little one for the Oxford Mail’s Baby of The Year competition.
Fraser Portraits will be snapping bonny babies at The John Allen Centre in Cowley from 10am to 4pm to finish off our two-week competition looking for the city’s cutest youngster.
Mum Sally Phillips, 35, from Wheatley is hoping her smiling daughter Faith will win them a week’s holiday up to the value of £1,000, thanks to Vauxhall Holiday Park.
She said: “A friend recommended us for it and thought Faith might have a good chance.”
The lucky winner will also receive a trophy and a beautiful canvas print of their baby.
Oxford Mail promotions manager Jo Coady said: “It’s always a hugely-popular event and if you think your child is a star, bring them along today.”

I don't want to 'rain' on the OM's 'parade' but isn't Baby of the Year just as demeaning as Miss World and other similar beauty competitions? Even worse, isn't it all about the Oxford Mail capitalising upon the extended egos of the parents and family - or do the babies in question know what they are doing? Moreover, what about all those babies which don't win - does that mean they are ugly and non-photogenic, and will this lead to an inferiority complex with their peers, for which the Oxford Mail Editor could well be liable?
