Four to study overseas thanks to Churchill Trust

Four Oxfordshire residents can study overseas after they were awarded grants.

The Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Fellowship has dished out £75,850 to 12 people, including:

  • Wesley Jacobs, 33, a sculptor from Faringdon, who will travel to the USA to study iron art casting
  • Abingdon resident Elsa Torres will go to Brazil and Germany to investigate education methods
  • Claire Bunce, 33, a speech and language therapist from Woodstock, will travel to Canada and the USA to investigate programming in voice disorder
  • Steven Harness, 45, a senior town and country planner from Witney will visit the USA to research growth in military-related developments.
