THE River Thames and its tributaries at Sandford and Radley near Oxford were taken off flood warning this morning.
This leaves just one section of the river – from Shiplake to Bolney Court near Henley in South Oxfordshire – at risk of flooding.
The past few days in Oxfordshire have been quite dry, and water levels at Iffley Lock in Oxford have fallen during the week.
Met Office forecasts for the rest of the day and for tomorrow indicate that the weather will remain cloudy but dry.
Oxfordshire experienced the second wettest 2012 on record, while it was the wettest year on record for England.
