A MAN who assaulted two men in their home avoided jail at Oxford Crown Court yesterday.
Julian Dore, 35, admitted two offences of common assault and breaching a suspended sentence on August 10 this year.
At about 7.30pm he barged his way into the home of Luke McShane and James Franklin in Ridings Close, Stonesfield, Witney, where he attacked them. The pair had no visible injuries.
Dore was previously given a seven- month sentence suspended for 24 months in July 2011 for assault causing actual bodily harm and witness intimidation.
Judge Mary Mowat ordered Dore to complete a six-month alcohol treatment requirement, a further 12- month supervision order and imposed a curfew of 7pm to 6am for three months.
