Motion rejected

WEST OXON: West Oxfordshire District Council has rejected a motion to help bring more women into its cabinet. There are currently no female cabinet councillors.

Opposition Liberal Democrats proposed reviewing the situation and for a report on how the position may be changed, but it was rejected.

If I was a woman I would be pleased that this was rejected, how humiliating to get a post, or a job just because you are a woman, not because you are the best person for the job.
