Trapped dog freed from mine shaft

A dog that got stuck down a mine shaft in woods in west Oxfordshire was released by firefighters last night.

The pet had got trapped in Carterton Woods at about 7.30pm, but was set free by a crew from Bampton fire station soon afterwards.
