A FANTASY world of rabbit holes, tea parties and Mad Hatters has been unveiled at Oxford Castle.

Budding artists yesterday got a glimpse of a new exhibition celebrating the 150th anniversary of the first telling of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

Students from the Banbury campus of Oxford & Cherwell Valley College visited the O3 Gallery.

The Wonderland exhibition features paintings, photographs, drawings, films and installations inspired by the classic tale.

Kayleigh Bullock, 20, said: “It was great to see a different variety of work in different mediums, I really liked it.”

The exhibition runs from July 7 to August 5. Mark Richards, of the Lewis Carroll Society, will give a talk at the gallery on July 18 at 6.15pm.
